I am one who heals and one who is healed. I am one who teaches, and one who learns. I am one who speaks, and one who listens. I am a work in progress, ever-unfolding into my next highest expression of Self.

I am 31 (yes, really!), happily married and living in Reston, VA, just outside of Washington, D.C. My life for the last while has been dedicated to my own healing, unfolding journey, as spoken about at length in Dawn's Tale. Immediately upon setting foot on the path of healing, I also began to walk the path of the healer. Healer, heal thyself has become a mantra for me - and as I have learned how to heal myself...I have also learned how to help others do the same.

My entire life has been touched by a sense of destiny, and I am just now beginning to see the glimmerings of that destiny made manifest. I recently met the person I will be partnering with - Steve Wood. We both have the same life purpose of waking people up, and helping them to reach for their own highest potential. :) Working together - we know we are creating something much larger, and much greater, than ourselves.

My personal mission is to empower others in an environment that is at once accepting of their current place, and passionate about their potential for growth. It is to help people to awaken to that potential, and to embrace it - the potential to be happy. The potential to be, do, and have anything that they have ever dreamed. The potential to be the highest expression of themselves, at any given time.

The words I consciously choose to embody to the best of my ability are: Integrity, empowering, evolving, expressive, accepting/non-judgmental, passionate, visionary, loving, personal, approachable, peaceful, joyful, spiritual, teacher, open, healer and connected. :)

Above all, I am a healer, a teacher, and a bringer of light. I am Akira. I am Dawn. :)
